Michael: Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the aluminum RV roof repair tape. This tape is going to help seal joints, seams and damage on your RV's roof. It will adhere to lots of different materials, including wood, metal, fiberglass, asphalt, just about any other construction surfaces this will adhere to. So it will be great for waterproofing any puncture holes or things like that that you might have on your RV to prevent any water from getting in and causing mold and other problems.

This will be great also for trucks, trailers, maybe gutters, skylights, flashings, those things.You can see, I've got two different options here for you. This one is the silver option. This is the white. So basically, the color is the only difference between these. So if you have a silver roof or you're wanting to put it on your flashings or something along those lines, that silver is an option.And if you have a white roof or your application is white, this one will probably be better for you, it'll blend in, be less noticeable.

But both of them have the same steel lock adhesive that's going to instantly stop leaks and permanently repair your RV's roof. It's not going to crack or shrink. It's going to be a great option for you for a permanent installation fix, any potential holes that you have.The UV stabilized surfaces will withstand sun exposure. So they're going to hold up for a nice long time and they are very easy to get installed. Basically, just cut off the length that you need, peel off that backing paper there and then stick it down like you would with any tape.

Make sure that it's nice and smooth, smooth out any air bubbles or anything like that. You will want to make sure that the surface that you're installing it on is clean and dry, to make sure that there are no grains of sand or anything in there that could prevent that adhesive from really grabbing onto the surface.These are both six inches wide by 25 feet long. So it's going to give you a lot of coverage there. So be good to have on hand, if you are doing some roof repairs or just to keep on hand in case you we're to have limb fall on your RV or something like that and you need a quick repair to keep that water out.
